The following is a very brief exerpt from Hazardous, my current Regency novel.  Don't get too attached.  I'm in the middle of some heavy revising.  :-)

"Bridgewater is as unlucky at hazard as I am at controlling my son," the Marquess of Trelissick announced to the small party of plump old men gathered around the gaming table.  The Earl of Bridgewater, who sat to his right, was the plumpest of the men.  He laughed at his friend's assessment.
